The Dream That Awakened
For a long time, Vaalbará was just music.
The seas followed its deep rhythm, the forests grew to the patient beat of the earth, the stars shone silently on the sky's staff, and the moon watched over dreams that had yet to be named.
Everything existed.
But nothing desired yet.
Until, one night, the world dreamed for the first time.
It wasn't a dream like those that would come later. It had no clear images, no words, no face. It was merely a longing. A small vibration in Vaalbará's newborn heart. The desire to be more than just beauty. To feel. To remember. To love.
And that desire was so pure, so immense, that the Score trembled.
The tides rose without wind. The trees bowed their branches to the sky. The stars flickered all at once, as if someone had uttered an ancient secret.
Then Vaalbará understood its first truth: everything dreamed with enough force no longer belongs only to the soul. It begins to belong to the world.
