Forest Kingdom · Chapter III

Elara

The Heart of the Forest
✦ ✦ ✦

Long before Arelis bowed her branches and Calia opened her petals under the storm, the Forest Kingdom held a secret.

Deep within its groves, where sunlight reached in golden threads and the moon only entered when the world slept, stood a tree so ancient that no one remembered seeing it born. Its name was Elara.

Its roots pierced the earth like memories. Its branches brushed the sky like questions. On its trunk lived the names of all the promises ever made beneath the forest's leaves. Elara didn't speak often. She didn't need to. The entire kingdom pulsed around her.

When Arelis learned to embrace, Elara felt a new tenderness flow through her roots. When Calia held calm during the storm, Elara felt a white peace open among her branches.

Then she understood that the forest was changing. It was no longer just a place to grow. It was a place to heal.

That same night, Elara dropped a seed. But it didn't fall to the earth. It hung suspended in the air, just at the heart-level of those who walked through the clearing. The seed glowed with a green and golden light, as if all the springs that had yet to happen lived within it.

Arelis offered the memory of her embrace. Calia gave the calm of her petals. And Elara, with the patience of eternal trees, gave her most valuable possession: the ability to listen to what the heart dares not say aloud.

From that seed, Elara was born. A jewel created to be worn close to the chest, where dreams still tremble before turning into words.

Elara was not born to promise that everything will be easy. She was born to remind us that within each person exists a secret forest. An intimate, deep, sacred place, where parts of us we thought lost still grow. A place where the tenderness of Arelis and the calm of Calia still live, waiting for us to listen to them again.

They say that whoever wears Elara close to their heart learns to recognize their own cycles. When to bud. When to rest. When to shed an old leaf. When to allow themselves to bloom again.

Because Arelis was the embrace. Calia was the calm. And Elara was the forest reminding us that everything that has been hurt can still grow again.
