Mareluna
The moon, serene and expectant, witnessed one of the most beautiful dances it had ever seen.
From high in the Vaalbara sky, it watched a small star, driven by the dream of true love, dare to leave its place in the firmament to follow an unknown melody. It saw that being of light, without promises or certainties, bid farewell to all it had ever known to immerse itself in what it still did not understand.
And the moon watched in silence.
It saw the courage to approach without guarantees. It saw the faith to follow a new heartbeat simply because the heart recognized it. It saw the beauty of choosing love, even when the path might lead to loss, doubt, or the immensity of the unknown.
That act deeply moved the moon goddess. For if stars were guardians of dreams, the moon was the guardian of the paths taken when those dreams began to come true. And it knew well that there is no journey more courageous than one undertaken with an open heart.
Then, taking pity on the fallen little star, the moon decided not to leave it alone. It dropped a small fragment of itself after it.
It did not do so to change its destiny, nor to undo its choice, but to accompany it. So that, in the darkness of the depths, there would be a soft light to guide its steps. So that, in moments of doubt, that piece of moon would remind it who it was. So that, even far from the sky, it would never feel entirely lost.
That fragment descended upon the ocean like a silver caress. It did not shine with the impetuous intensity of a star, but with a calm, serene, constant light. A light made not to dazzle, but to remain. To watch over. To sustain.
And so, from the compassion of the moon, the courage of the star, and the protective silence of the night, Mareluna was born. Sister of Estela Marina. Companion to those who dare. Guide to those who move forward even with fear.
A jewel created to remind us that, even when life takes us far from the known, we never walk completely alone. That there is always a light willing to accompany us. A fragment of calm in the midst of uncertainty. A gentle presence that does not demand, does not push, does not judge... it simply remains.
Because sometimes the greatest act of love is not to leap into the void. Sometimes, the greatest act of love is to become the light that accompanies the one who has decided to do so.
